Another day another beer… Well maybe. Anyway, so we went for a standard business lunch meeting at the “American” style diner (called The Diner) just off Carnaby Street in London’s Soho area. The food was good solid fare and for beer we choose the Canadian independent brew – Sleemans. We had the Sleeman’s Amber and we had more than one of course (Rule No 1: never stop with one beer). The final total was a mear 3.5 pints between 2 vikings.
The Sleeman’s Amber is a full flavored beer with a warm after taste. The fact that the waitresses serving us were very tasty to the eye added to our drinking pleasure. Sleeman’s Amber rating:
- Overall – 6.5
- Taste/flavor – 6
- Body – 6
- Color/texture – 7
