Beer Viking

Dropped in with my Pa at the South Downs Beer Festival in Lewes.  Over 60 beers but as it was the afternoon only was able to try a few.  More details below.

This seemed to be a real ale drinkers festival and not one of the family.  If still in Sussex, might drop in again but probably would get the pass instead for other festivals that are around the same time.

Beers Tasted

• Castle Rock – Sparrow Hawk – 5.0% – Interesting wheat beer
• Dark Star – Festival – 5.0% – Tasty dark ale
• Dark Star – Summer Meltdown- 4.8% – Didn’t really work for me with so many other beers I would have liked to have tried but interesting with the ginger addition none the less
• Red Squirrel – Springfield IPA – Bold IPA with Amercian Hops (So so so tasty)
