Beer Viking

Ok, not quite truly regional but Fish Tale Organic India Pale Ale is from Olympia, WA and so that’s really all part of Cascadia and counts in my books, well it does to this beer.

An extremely tasty IPA and more than satisfies the green and the hophead in the Tank.  It’s a favourite of Buck and he’s going around converting people to this in Vancouver.  Great, in that it’s opening people eye’s taste buds to awesome beer.

I’ve only really taken up the hobby of beer tasting recently and so can’t really comment but my gut says the inclusion of the Pacific Gem hop from New Zealand might just be the thing that gives this I(A)PA the edge for me and is probably a benchmark beer.
