Beers

We have over 75 different beers. But several breweries are “Featured Breweries” of the festival. These breweries have supplied us with their entire current range. The micro from Downton in Wiltshire providing us with no less than 7 different brews.

Twickenham Fine Ales have provided all their range, as do Ballard’s of Hampshire.

Star of the show and pride of place must go to Meantime London Pale Ale which is the first cask ale from our glass sponsors Meantime of Greenwich.

Please note that the emphasis here will be on dark beers but there are still plenty of pale and golden delights if you find it all too heavy going. Just a word on pricing. Excise duty in the UK is charged on strength the stronger the brew the more duty and in turn the more VAT in effect a tax on a tax. So that’s why the 10% beer is £4 a pint.
